One day while I was taking a lovely bath, my puppy discovered the bathtub. She wandered around the whole thing, popping up to see what I was up to. She was so curious and I was almost done in the tub, so I picked her up and put her in! She sat there with a rather perplexed look on her face, as though she loved being right there with me, bit not quite certain about the water—I captured that confusion in this painting—she is still and pensive.
